We're in! No flags on the MRI/Cat Scans, so we'll be rolling into Goshen Monday. Looking forward to seeing our Heartland friends.

So happy for the "no flags" news Sims family. Always nice to hear good news. In the meantime, for those of you who are already at the rally. Is there anyone who would be willing to take my mild mannered yellow lab out for a potty break on Friday? We are signed up for the tour which lasts about seven and a half hours. That is a long time for her to 'hold it'. Just hoping. Let me know.

Hope y'all hunker down this evening and tonight. Was watching weather and it looks like y'all will be in for a breezy night tonight. Wish we were there but DW is already planning our trip up in '15. Lol

Auntie Em! Auntie Em!!

You're right, I just looked at the radar map for Michigan and a monster green blob with lots of red and yellow is about to eat us. It's just west of Lansing but doesn't look like it'll change course. Earlier today, the map looked like most of the storm would skirt to the south of us. Could be a busy night for me if it gets real ugly around here.

We are under a tornado watch so far we have not seen any twister just rain lightening and some wind. Most everyone is in the shelter waiting out the storm.

Looks like, at least for now, we dodged the bullet. Had 2 storms coming this way, but 1 went north & the other south! Really didn't have very heavy rain, but it seems to be picking up now. Hopefully it'll just be rain!

Since this is our first big rally, what type or how many leveling boards do I need to bring and are our electrical hookups close? How many feet of cord will we need?

It depends on where you are parked for leveling boards. just bring what you normally would.
Electric is at the rear of the site.
Bring at least 15 to 20 feet of sewer hose though.
There is a Walmart close by of you need supplies.

Peace
Dave

Wayne just called from work and he has pulled a muscle in his back. They have him sitting with ice on it. He won't leave and go to the doctor. Ugg
Am I a bad wife for telling him to leave and go to the doctor and maybe we can get an earlier start on getting to the rally????
ummmmm I was very careful how I worded that while he was on the work phone.........big brother watching you know.
