We made it back home to Texas today, safe and sound and HOT!!!
Beautiful drive thru Missouri and Arkansas after leaving Lake Wappappello.
I spoke with 5 Heartland owners at the campground in Lake Wappappello and none of them had any idea there was a club or forum. I wrote out instructions and handed them out to all. I think we need a business card like tool to hand out... any ideas Erica?
Thanks to Jim and the Gang for a great event.

There used to be a pack of around 25 cards that came with every new rig, or maybe I've been dreaming again...😳

Bret, I can certainly design a custom business card for you, as I've done for a few other HOC members.

I know we had some HOC cards given to us at some rally that were blank and promoted meeting, but they didn't have enough room to write info except your site number.

Custom cards with your picture, club website, and contact info, can help, and can easily be left for someone not home at their coach.

PM me if you are interested!

When we joined the HOC, we got a packet of HOC cards with room to write our names & site #.

Yes! That's where we got them. But they don't have enough room to really tell the recipient much more than that, I designed cards for us with our names and our picture with our Elkridge, the HOC website, our forum names, emails, phone# and our blog.

Prayer Request- Jim Routzahn a first time rally attendee and husband of Linda , better known as "Shania Twain" had a heart attack two days after leaving Goshen. They were in the Cincinnatti area where he was hospitalized and received 2 stints. . He is out of the hospital and will recuperate in that area until he returns to the dr in two weeks. Please put Jim and Linda on your prayer list. They are full time rv'ers.

Bad news indeed! We met them a couple of years ago just after they bought their Bighorn. We'll keep them in our prayers.

Demo coach discussed at rally has just been reduced

For those that were at the Goshen rally, you'll recall I mentioned that my 2012 Landmark Key Largo demo coach is for sale.

We have just reduced the price of this coach by $2000 to $64,000 US.

If you were at the rally or not, this coach is available to anyone, even non-Heartlanders. See this thread for more information on this demo coach.

Sorry to be so long in getting this out but I was waiting for the final word from the Food Bank. Heartland Owners donated 1321 food items from baby food to dog food and everything in between! I was so amazed at the generosity of all of you who attended the rally and gave so freely. The food bank reported that we gave over 1190 POUNDS of food to help those less fortunate in the Elkhart County area! Thank you all so much for all you gave and I pray that the blessings will be returned 100 fold to you.

Wow Buddy - that's an amazing work done by Heartlanders! Thank you to you and Maureen for coordinating this and making it possible for Heartlanders to pour out this amount of love to an economically hard hit area like Elkhart county.

This was our first National Rally and what a great time!! I really appreciate all the work Jim and his team did. Everything was flawless check in, meals, tours, seminars ...outstanding job!! I also have to appreciate Larry (southernnights) who helped me non- stop for hours helping figure out my electrical issue ...what a great individual !!!

Some of the dust issues certainly could have been curtailed with some respectable speeds of some drivers...thought I was in Indy at times not Goooshen...

It was my pleasure. We really enjoyed being your neighbors.

Does anyone remember the name of the person or business that made the metal ring that was shown at the rally? I believe it was made by an Amish man around Shipshewana. If you know or remember the name I would appreciate if you let me know. Thanks.
