2016 Resort 40FE Destination Trailer - Window Latch/Lock Issues

We purchased a 1 year old used Resort 40FE (2016) which we absolutely love! The windows by the dining room, recliners and sides of the slides are the kind that raise and lower vertically and are smaller windows. We noticed that some of the windows will not actually stay up and a couple of windows and are easily opened just by pulling up on the window. The latch mechanism requires two hands to squeeze two latches together.

There is a plastic track in the side channels on either side of the window that the locking posts from the squeeze latches go into, but the plastic tracks move with the windows. They do not appear to be secured at all so the windows will either not stay up without fiddling with this track or can be opened pretty easily without "squeezing" the latches.

Some of the "holes" in this track look to be pretty chewed up - probably from the prior owner.

Anyone else have this issue? It looks like those plastic "tracks" need to be secured to the side of the frame "somehow" but not sure if that's true or if they are supposed to be pressure fit. Should these be screwed down somehow? I looked at the inside of the window trak and there are some holes for what look like screws, but again not sure.

Additionally, some of the windows have a rubber stopper to stop the track from moving too far up the side track - some do not have this stopper.

Window challenged!
