Air conditioner goes on when you start the furnace

When hooked up to shore power the AC comes on with the furnace. It does not come on when dry camping no shore power. I did not order a heat pump system, we have a furnace. Help!

Thermostat probably has the FAN set to HIGH or LOW. If you set it to AUTO, that'll stop.

Dan is right. Same thing happen to me first time I used the furnace. Set the fan to "auto".
