Any known issues?

Some of you may recognize my user name as one that was pretty common here a couple of years ago. Two years we bought our Foretravel MH because it was the best fit for us at that time. Things change, and we're thinking that maybe a towable might be a better choice for us.

What are the known issues in 2005-2010 Landmarks? There are a couple of design "features" that have us wondering what Heartland was thinking, but none of them are deal-breakers.

2005 thru 2007 are considered "Classic" models. They are somewhat different from 2008 and up. I think many of the classics have interesting features like Granite counters. A 2005 will be 10+ years old. Many of the classic models are holding up very well however. The key to buying one this age is a very thorough inspection and being prepared to do some DIY work. Check carefully for signs of water intrusion, any leaks, mechanicals (appliances, lights, etc), and overall appearance. Tires could also be an issue. Check the manufacture date on them.
