ATF: Edge - Slide-out not centered.

The slide-out on our Edge is not centered in the wall opening.
The gap on one side is about 1"; on the other it's closer to 4".
The slide-out works fine but the rubber flap seal on the thin side will not flip in or out as the slide-out moves.

I notice that the steel posts holding up the rack & pinion set-up can be moved a little to the left or right.
Is there any reason why I can't loosen the mount screws in the floor and shift the slide-out a bit to center it?

You can loosen those bolts, but rather than moving the slide move the shafts.
You should be able to get a little side movement out of those shafts.
Then run the slide in and out a couple times and repeat till you have the slide where you want it.
