I'm sooooooooo disappointed with not having the Synchronized Backin' Up demonstration by our fearless leaders.Sad.jpg

And Gus, it's not "angled".......it's just your independent artistic form of "expression"..........

We'll be leaving tomorrow morning.

Want to get there "after" Ken (Krhyde), so I don't have to help him.

Dick

Dick, I just checked out your spot and I'm really looking forward to watching you back that big KL into that spot. Can you say "tight".
Drive safe and we'll see you tomorrow.

Ken - we might have the same problem trying to get into our site even tho the cg says it will hold up to 55'. will have to wait and see. If I remember correctly - there's a big tree.

Hey everyone......been following the chatter on this rally thread. Just wanted to jump in and wish ya'll a great time this weekend. We loved camping in the Maggie Valley area each time we've been there. Wish we could have stayed on the list, but will be thinking of you while we are at the Charlotte race. Will be heading to NJ for the Cape May rally next week and will be checking out a campground or two on the way up and back. Enjoy....and watch out for those rocket launchers !!!!!!

Larry and I spent the afternoon preparing Scoring Sheets for when Lance arrives. We have tried to warn those parked nearby but we'll wait till he arrives to put out the alert. I have a "shield" around my RV in case any missiles come near. For those who don't understand this post, I apologize We'll explain it all when you get here.

I see Larry has been recruiting......and by the way, there isn't a "shield" that can't be circumvented by special effects!

PS. Krhyde, it's not to late for you to recant your alliance with Larry......I just hate for someone in a new 2012 LM to have picked the wrong side.....

Made it to the campground and have it all set up waiting for Michelle to get here to see if I put everything in its proper place. Lance I will try to keep Larry busy for another day so you can get in under the radar. Thanks to Larry and Randy for the help getting me into my site.

Stop and pick me up Paul.

Sorry, we will have to have Dave set up our phones to notify us when a new post hits the forum so next time I see the post when I am on my way, not after I get there. All set up now...drove straight through (pulled a Jon trip) so it is too late to stop and pick you up. :( Next time! :)

We pulled into Creekwood Farms yesterday morning around 10:30, got all set up and made our run to the store for some last minute stuff for the rally. Guess what? Gotta go back to the store again today. But that's ok cause it isn't that far to drive. Most of our folks are here already. We are gonna have a crowd. Great campground and our cg hosts are great also. Weather is beautiful and so are the mountains all around us. We are going to have a great weekend. Wish you were here.

Nancy and I arrived here at Creekwood Farms RV Park around 4 pm yesterday. The woman who escorted us to our site (54) stood at the back of the site while I backed into it. Tight! Once we got in though, the site is really nice. And what a view out the back window!

We went into the Maggie Valley area to have dinner at the mountain cabin home of Heartlanders, Clark and Gail Thompson. Great people and a very nice time. We're looking forward to them visiting the rally this weekend (by car).

Last night, I took an evening stroll around the campground. It was after 9 pm so I didn't run into many people outside. I did find Terry trying to peak in his satellite dish. Then Lance wandered out, walking his new pooch.

Getting used to the time zone change. I was up til 12:30! Ah - but I slept in until 7:30 this morning :)

See y'all today!

Jim
