This a good thing, cause we tend to be on the quiet side......being the shy North Carolinian's that we are.

Another HOC member from Florida. Thank you for coming and hope you guys have a safe trip here.

As far as Lance's comment about NC people being shy, well, let's just say that no matter what side of the campground HE is on, everyone seems to know who HE is.

Stay tuned for some upcoming info. on a possible trip to the Biltmore House in Asheville,NC. I will post the cost of the trip in a couple days. Also, since we will be in the N.C. mountains in the fall we are looking into the possibility of ordering sweatshirts with the Heartland logo and the rally site printed on them. I would need payment for the sweatshirts before the order can be filled. We will find out more about the cost of the sweatshirt this weekend and I will post it here. If you would be interested in placing and order, please send me a private message with the quanity and size you would need. Thanks and have a great weekend!

We have been to the Biltmore twice a few years apart. The first time we went it cost $63 for both of us. Last time we went there the price was $64 per person. You can go into the restaurant and winery after 4:30 (not sure about the time but that is close).

Looked up Biltmore and for Oct they show these prices:
http://www.biltmore.com/buy_tickets/ticket_prices.asp

Put the Parrish's down as attendee's, just made our reservations this morning. Forgot to ask what site we will be in but we know we won't be on the creek since those sites are full for that weekend. Ann and I stayed at this park back in 2006 it is a wonderful park, well managed and very clean. They even offered free biscuits & gravy, plus pastry's and coffee on Saturday and Sunday mornings. One thing that impressed us was at 10:00 PM "all went quiet". Looking forward seeing y'all.
