We have learned that the Ro-Jan food Pantry has become a victim of the economy and has closed it's doors.

I want to thank Cathy at Copake KOA for helping me to find a replacement charity for our give back. We have arranged to collect specific non-perishable food items for the 'Backpacks For Kids' and will partner with Taconic Hills Schools to provide weekend nourishment to area kids who need a hand. We have agreed to collect Real Juice Boxes, Granola Bars, Graham Crackers and Cheese & Crackers. The items should be in single serving packages and all should be non-perishable.

In addition to the back packs for kids program we will have collection jars for KOA Care Camps for kids. Donations will be accepted throughout the weekend.

ANNOUNCING THE FIRST NORTHEAST REGION RALLY
You can plan now to be a part of 'Heartland Owners Club History'

The Northeast Region is proud to announce the
Taconic Mountain Range of Eastern New York as the location for our
2012 Northeast Region Rally to be held on September 28, 29 and 30, 2012.
Our Host for this event will be

Copake KOA
2236 County Route 7, Copake, NY 12516

Copake KOA is the winner of the 2010 and 2011 KOA Presidential Award and has been awarded the coveted 5W/5W rating by Woodall's for the 2012 camping season. This historic Hudson Valley location is a 110 acre property located in Columbia County. It is less than 2 hours from New York City and is in the foothills of the beautiful Berkshire Mountains bordering New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. The entire area is rich in history and fun with 100's of attractions within a 45 minute drive.

We have reserved 50 full-hookup campsites that include water, electric (50amp), sewer and cable TV. Wifi service is available throughout the campground at no additional charge. Site fees are $45.00 per night. Copake KOA will honor this discounted rate throughout your entire stay as early arrivals and late departures are welcome. No other discounts can be applied or combined including KOA Rewards. Please call Copake KOA directly at 518-329-2811 to make a reservation. Please Do Not Call the KOA 800 Reservations Line. Be sure to tell the campground reservation specialist 'you are with the Heartland Owners Club' when you call so you are assigned a rally site. A one night deposit is all that is required to reserve your spot in the Heartland History Books! Site numbers will not be assigned at the time of reservation to afford Copake the ability to assign them as to the 'best rig fit' as the rally gets closer. Copake follows the KOA Corporate cancelation policy of a $10.00 cancelation fee with any balance refunded with 48 hours notice.

Part of our agreement with Copake KOA is the return of any unregistered campsites on July 15, 2012.
In order to be assured a site we suggest making early reservations.

Our agenda will have one real purpose ' to help you relax, relax, relax! At this time we are not planning any dealership participation or seminars throughout the event. We would like you to come and join us for what we are hoping to be a completely relaxing time. No pressures, no classes to attend and no worries! The only thing we want you to do is relax and enjoy your time spent with friends!

Our highlight event will be on Saturday evening. We will be having a Catered Dinner and Murder Mystery Theater. We will participate in the who-done-it, "Trouble At The Tropicabana"and expect to have a great time!
Curious what's on the menu?
Catered Dinner Menu From Northern Italy

Chicken Marsala
Caesar Salad
Rice Pilaf
Rolls and Butter

Yep... I replyed to your PM.. I would be happy to help.

One thing I would like to do. I have met some of you all at the Varona NY in 2010, but I don't remember all the names that went with the photos I took.

I am posting a photo of me and my DW Pat with our Yorkie Trevor. I would like to get everyone to post a photo so we can get an idea of who is who. I know EVERYONE from the Varona NY Rally will remember me... LOL.. but some of those that was not there would be able to recoginize me when I arrive. OH... Yea.. I am from TEXAS... Guess you will have no problem finding me in site 100.

Seriously folks I am honored to attend this rally and hope to have a lot of fun.

Travel safe and God Bless

Thanks so much Bob. I know you guys will have a blast meeting some more of the Northeast crowd!

For those wondering what all the PMing was about Bob has agreed to be our official rally photographer so we have a great record of our first region event. He is a wiz behind the lens!

I will help you identify some of your peeps if you still have outstanding issues at the rally.
