We were very excited to order our 2022 Ford F-450 and while waiting 6 months, I did a lot of YouTube research. One thing that kept coming up was the lack of an integrated TPMS system for 6 tires on the truck. Surprisingly, it appears the 19.5” steel belted tires were incompatible with the Ford’s TPMS solution. So using my contacts in the RV industry, I found a great solution. TST offers a sensor that goes inside the tire (banned to rim) that allows DRW owners to know have access to the valve stem to add air. My prior solution on our F-350 DRW were the valve stem type of TPMS, but I had to remove the outside tire to add air to inside tire, as there was no way to reach into inside tire. The "pass-through" type TPMS solution were simply too long and didn't allow the air nozzle to connect.
Finally, I ruled out valve stem expenders as I heard they had issues with causing leaks. I can't confirm this, so YMMV. Also, with extenders, there is no way to measure tire temperature.
Hope this helps...
