Rotochoks lock the wheels from moving,one step just blocks the wheel from rolling. But that's why they make em different strokes for different folks

Ahhh!! the key word is iock !! I've had both I'll take the Rotochok"s any day.

Ambient temperature could be 90 or 30. As the tire is driven the temperature increase will possibly be the same and pressure increase will be similar. Remember that the sun can also increase the pressure so early in the morning is better. If I check them at 30f I recheck them again in warmer weather when traveling south in the fall.

I've used my X-chocks for 1 1/2 seasons now, and they are sweet!

I love them!

I can see that if I had a flat tire I might have an issue with them, but otherwise, I just can't see any problem with them!

But, I am not using them on a 5th-wheel, which could be the issue.

I had alignment problems on an SOB fiver after using the X-Chocks. It was never really determined if that was a factor, but I have become very wary of the device, as it has the dynamic to force the axles apart. For that reason, I now only use conventional rubber chock blocks. JMHO Trace
