Ambient temperature could be 90 or 30. As the tire is driven the temperature increase will possibly be the same and pressure increase will be similar. Remember that the sun can also increase the pressure so early in the morning is better. If I check them at 30f I recheck them again in warmer weather when traveling south in the fall.
I had alignment problems on an SOB fiver after using the X-Chocks. It was never really determined if that was a factor, but I have become very wary of the device, as it has the dynamic to force the axles apart. For that reason, I now only use conventional rubber chock blocks. JMHO Trace
