I need to attach a sunshade to my awning, but there are no attachment points or slide tracks to attach it. Most advertisements for adding a shade indicate you slide it into a track. My new trailer does not have this track. Would appreciate some help, please. I have a North Trail 21rbss.
How do you attach sunshade to awning without and accessory track?

On my first camping trip I had noticed it when trying to hang lights. I called Heartland and they said it was correct.

Can you post a couple of pictures of the awning tube and the end of the tube at both ends?
It’s at the dealer getting work done. Four days of dead battery adventures, no water pump to deliver water unless generator on…(dry camping), no refrigeration, no lights, amongst other adventures at a 4 day bluegrass festival.
