jerking slide outs

Hi
I am the new owner of a 2013 Road Warrior 415. I bring home my unit yesterday and go to put the slides out and they are slow and they jerk! Then to pull them back in they do the same thing!
Ok, now I am nervous! Brand new Road warrior and it's already having issues? Any tricks to the slides? I was hooked up to shore power. Should I take it back to the dealer?? HELP.

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge if needed.

When you did your PDI did you try the slides at the dealer and did they work OK? Is the trailer setting level or close to being level?

I had a little of this on my Sundance after storage this last winter. I use slide lube that I get from Camping World. I'm not sure how much jerking you are talking about. Mine just didn't seem to be as smooth as usual. I sprayed this lube on the gears slide rails and they were a lot smoother. There are other brands of lube available also.

If they are hydraulic check fluid level if not sounds like needs to be lubed.
