Kitchen Slide support Brackets

Thought I'd post a heads-up on the support brackets on our slides.
My Sundance is only 3 yrs. old and I had to have my kitchen slide adjusted in Jan. just before a trip to Fl. On the last couple days of the trip the same slide was not closing properly leaving a pretty good gap on the bottom.
Took it in to the Dealer again last week and it turns out the brackets were rusted and cracked. The dealer was able to remove and clean and welded them and it appears OK now. Didn't think I drove over that many salted roads in 3 yrs. but looks like I was wrong.
They suggested spray washing the bottom side of the slides after Winter travel. sounds like a good idea and will be doing so in the future.

My rig was pulled out of Indiana in February of 2011. The dealer failed to adequately wash it down during the PDI.

On my maiden voyage I noticed some salt corrosion had already taken place on the undercarrige . I was able to clean, paint and lube to stop it.

Salt is very corrosive and it doesn't take much to do damage. Trace
