Lippert 281281 shock kits

I installed shock kits on my 2014 Cyclone 3110. It wasn’t too bad. More tedious than difficult. I flipped the upper brackets in order to place the shocks more vertical. I had to bend the bottom plate in order to accommodate the different angle. I replaced the rubber bushings with 9.8105G end link polyurethane bushings that last longer. I put serrated flanged nuts on the backside of the upper bracket support bolts. Total time for install was less than 8 hours. Lippert calls for a four inch clearance between tire sidewall and RV frame. I had 2 1/2”. I redrilled the hole in the top bracket to bring the top of the shock in away from the tire.

Sorry about that. That is from my brother’s Jayco Eagle. We put shocks on his RV first.

I paid $129 each for two kits.

Great description and pictures.

Now that the shocks are on what differences have you noticed?

1. Any noticeable improvements in the pulling and ride characteristics of trailer/truck?
2. Is there less "jostling" of items in trailer?
3. Any other improvements with shocks?
4. Was it worth the expense and effort?
5. Do you know if it voids the manufactures warranty?

I'm a new Cyclone owner and I am considering the mod.
