Just my preference but I could not see getting on my knees to operate the awning switch and lights in my Greystone RE. Removing the slideout counter exstension to get to the back of the switches was the hardest. I have a post in 120V electrical for that. Moved the switch up near the counter. Had to add some wire and had to bend the wire connections to make sure the slide did not hit them. I had a piece of the paneling from an earlier mod and cut it to size and cleaned up the edges to cover the old holes. Sure is easier getting at the switches.
