New to Us ... 2007 Bighorn 3055RL

Hello, All! We have just purchased our first 5er AND we love it (after we worked out a few quirks, which this site has been so helpful to us). We used to have a TT with bunks but the kids no longer camp with us. We were "camper-less" for a few years but now we are back and excited to use our new fifth wheel!
Thanks for such a great resource! Hope to meet you soon!

Hi Andrew and Tami,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

Welcome back to the camping side of life. If you need help with anything just ask and someone will try to help with suggestions or links to someone that has the know how.

Please think of joining us in the Heartland Owners Club where we have rallies and you will meet lots of great folks.

Enjoy the forum and your 3055RL.

We think the 3055 is the perfect floor plan, size, weight. Good choice. (Too bad it's been discontinued)

We started our Heartland ownership with an '07 3055RL Bighorn. We were very happy with it. Good luck and have fun with it!

Andrew and Tami:
Welcome to the forum and the heartland Owners family. I hope you spring for the membership and attend some rallies to get together with your fellow Heartlanders. Since you are in nearby Michigan, I would think about keeping the middle of June open for next year's NATIONAL Heartland owners rally in Goshen, Indiana (near the factory in Elkhart). Lots of seminars and trips, dinners, etc. Heartland corporate pays a lot of the behind the scenes costs. Search for a "Goshen Rally" thread to see previous years' activities/offers/costs.

Also, a bit of the Heartland Forum "gospel" I like to spread, is check out all of the MANY manuals downloaded for just about everything on your rig under the "Tools" tab at the top of each forum page, then the "Manuals" menu selection, then start exploring all of the submenus.

Happy Heartlanding!!!
