Jim,

Is Snap Pad likely to give our members a reduced rate if they become a partner with Heartland? If so, I will hold off getting a set of 6 for a few weeks to take advantage of that rate.

Rod

OK - so I received an email on 1-Oct, probably while I was driving and never circled back around to read it.

Here's the link to the Snap Pad site. These items are available now. If Snap Pad chooses to become a partner with our club, I'll create a space for them on the forum.

Another completed Mod
Copied from Jim B's Mod list.
I finally installed the refrigerator LED inverter on indicator light on the front of the coach. I mounted it right above the landing leg switch just high enough to see it in the rearview mirror and the side mirror.
No more wondering if the fridge is still on
Thanks Jim for the idea and the guidance to make it work.

Really like the light.
Jim's part list said 1A output, yours looks like 200mA. Will any low output power adapter work? What light did you pick and was it based on the output of the power adapter?

I wish I was that technical.
The power adapter said 12v and I ordered a light on Amazon that said 12v plugged it in and it worked

Ok, Simple enough then.
I have piles of those adapters. Sounds good. Jerrod, thanks for the photos and reminding me of a great mod that Jim did too.

Another Mod
This is the first version of my pull out trash can.
I need to rebuild it one more time with a 5" riser on the side to keep the bag from getting ripped up by the roller tracks, and to make more storage space under the can for the replacement bags.
This will also bring it up to right below the counter so Rhonda can just sweep the cooking waste right off the counter into the can.

Nice Jerrod. Another idea is to put the cabinet door on track and use the door pull to pull out the trash can. Then below, build the new liners shelf. Fun stuff!

Ya Jim that was my first idea but Rhonda liked this better because of the knob placement and getting the can in and out.
I could order another door from Heartland if we decide to go that route.
Still thinking that that would be a good way to go through.
The rollers might not come out far enough to get the can in and out.

Mod redone
Version #2 much better
After learning all of my dimensions and clearance options. I completely redid the trash can pull out that I made yesterday. I used a 1×6 Mahogany plank. It kinda blends ok with the factory wood without staining it. Also I did mount the door to this box and left the single side pull knob which seems to work fine.

Nice job. Looks really good. Just one question.... Why or how is the work table and floor so clean in your shop. If mine was like that I would not be able to find anything. Everything in mine is just where I left it. :) (most of the time) :)

LOL well you didn't see behind me
That is the side I park the car and the jeep on, so when I pull both of them out I have what looks like a clean garage.

Jerrod,
Very nice job. I spend most of my time tripping over kids toys when working in my garage and then looking for a tool I know I have for an hour or more only to find it under a toy.
