Rear Stabilizer Jack Motor

Last weekend I discovered my Rear Stabilizer Jack Motor was burned out. Apparently the switch was stuck in the retract position when we broke camp the weekend before and it ruined the motor on the return trip from Branson. I pulled it apart and it was locked up and smelled burnt. I know several members have installed the six point level up system and maybe removed the factory installed rear jack. I was hoping someone had a used motor they would like to sell for a reasonable price plus shipping. Please send me a pm if you have one laying around. The $300.00price quoted for a replacement is not a viable choice right now. Thanks.

Look in your phone book for an electrical motor rewind or repair shop... find some little out of the way place and let them rewind or repair. Usually will be a lot less expensive and just as good as new.

Google RV surplus stores. I know a guy that bought the whole rear stabilizer with the motor for around $200. You may be able to find just a motor.
