Our latch broke on our 2010 Landmark storage door. The small metal device that pushes the latch open broke. It took us forever to get it open again but we finally did and removed the actual latch. Now we hold it closed with a bungee so not very secure.
I ordered a replacement from etrailer and installed it but it moves in the slot. As a result it can be moved back far enough that the door can be opened.
I am not sure why the old one didn't move as it seems to be exactly the same size. In any case, does anyone have a suggestion for making this work? Is there a latch that is as wide as the hole? The hole is 4" wide but the latch is only about 3¾".
