Sewage Hose Compartment

The sewage hose compartment on our 3250TS is entirely too small. PPP in the design of campground sewage dump holes means it takes a lot of sewer hose to reach it. I am putting a hose holder under ours to hold the hose and use the compartment to hold the fittings. Yesterday I was underneath and when I was wiggling my way out my 5 year old granddaughter grabbed my arm and said "I help you grandpa"...

I don't know if the compartments are different, but on my 3670, I was able to stuff twenty feet of floppy slinky hose into it. Now, with RhinoFlex hose, I can get a 15ft and a 10ft section, with their fittings in there easier. I'd like to put a PVC holder on for them, but the end fittings won't fit.

Been there done that, Bob! My 3 year old Grandson thinks he has to be under my truck or trailer to check things every time he gets a chance. He probably knows more about servicing a Cummins engine than the majority of the techs working at the quicky lube joints!!

Grand kids are great......They keep you smiling and young!!

I purchased a section of 6" PVC and had two pieces of all thread bent into u-bolts. I bolted them through the frame flange and used rubber expansion plugs in the ends. My hoses and fittings have plenty of room.

Today I finished my new sewer hose holder.....I got it painted and the hose ends installed so I do not have to install them in order to dump my tanks....I then put the elbow and other plumbing stuff in the compartment .

Just finished mine too. Located a 5"X5" vinyl fence post and end caps at a local fence company. Cut to length, primed and painted it black yesterday. Mounted it this morning. Holds 20' of hose. Here's a pic with the end cap hanging by a cord and the hose peeking out.

I found the 5 X 5 fence posts at our local Lowe's........They also had the 6" PVC but boy are they proud of that stuff!! I'm going with the fence post....From the previous post I'm convinced this will work just fine and save me a little money!
