Skylight Won't Stay Closed

We have a 2021 Milestone 370flmb which has 3 skylights. The kitchen and bathroom skylights open via a motor with the 3rd above the loft just a manual handle.

The kitchen and bathroom work fine, but recently, the bathroom will not stay shut. It seems like whatever mechanism is supposed to lock it in place is either broken or missing. The motor will completely close and open the bathroom skylight, but a strong wind will open it about an inch or 2. This is super annoying on windy days! I recently just taped it shut due to the wind.

After getting up on the roof and examining how everything operates, I can't quite seem to figure out what has broken. Has anyone run into this before, or know what I am missing?

Look into items like this. It protects the vent cover from the winds, sleet, and you can leave the vent open during the rain.

Not that I can see. It looks pretty clean since we don't really use it that much. Usually, just use it after a shower to let the humidity out.
