So I was going to post about an hour ago looking for help with what could be wrong with my slideout. Hit the switch and could hear the motor but the slide went nowhere.
Decided instead to have the wife hit the switch while I poked around. I could see a shaft through the frame turning but nothing else. Turns out the motor came loose. We drove 700 miles yesterday, it worked fine in the morning. I was looking at it trying to figure out how we had not lost it driving down the road, nothing seemed to be holding the motor on...then I saw the hole in the slide tube and it clicked. We lost the set screw.
Something I would have never thought to check. Luckily it is something simple. Added to the list of things to check every so often.
