Three Suspension Upgrades

I am looking at three possible suspension upgrades, I have listed them below. Does anyone have experience with these suspension upgrades? I am interested in opening a discussion on the pros and cons of these upgrades. I would be doing this work myself so I don't have a cost of labor! I know independent would be the best upgrade but that is not in my budget.

We went with the Roadmaster tandem axle leaf spring kit on our 2012 Cyclone 3010HD toy hauler. It originally had the 7000# axles under it and upgraded to the 8000# axles and leaf springs. We already had the hydraulic brake upgrade on the original axles, so just had to get the brackets to fit the 8000# axles. Also got the shock absorber kit along with it. Couldn’t tell a lot of difference between the stock suspension and the 8000# upgrade. It does seem to be smoother, but I think the heavier axles are stiffer riding. We haul 2 Harley dressers in the garage and the original leaf springs were shot. We had pulled them, probably 50,000 miles all over the US on all kinds of bad roads and a lot of long grades. I’d still go to the heavier axles and hydraulic brakes, if I had to do it again. The hydraulic brakes were the best upgrade we’ve done.

We drove our 45' tri-axle CY thru door #3 January of 2020 and purchased the Road Master system along with other components at the Quartzsite, Az RV show....it was all installed 6 weeks later.

3-8K axles
Disc brakes
RM slipper spring/box system
6 shocks
Upgraded rear spring hangers
X-Factor crossmember (rear)

Very happy we went with our choice for numerous reasons and, yes, we would choose this suspension again. We had entertained having the IS installed, but the drive back to Indiana from West coast wasn't in the cards.

LBR, man those are some pretty impressive springs! Sorry OP, cannot help you w/ your choices. We have the MorRyde CRE 3000 from factory on our BC and find it to be pretty good as nothing seems to move around inside. Add too a 5th Airborne hitch, so overall she rides great.

I also have the CRE 3000 and a Hensley TS3 Air Hitch and MorRyde orbital Pin Box.
