Northeast winter get together in ac 2/17/12-2/20/12

JUST A REMINDER:

Anyone interested in joining us in Atlantic City over presidents weekend, there are only 4 days left to book a room at the Comfort Inn at the group rate.

When we were all together in New York we talked about a get together over the winter. Lot's to do and lot's of good food! SPECIAL NOTE: The Atlantic City RV SHow will be the 17th-19th. It could give us an opportunity to do some good Heartland PR while enjoying each other's company! Let's do this.

We have ten rooms (5 with 2 doubles and 5 with King beds)available at the Comfort Inn, 7079 Black Horse Pike,West Atlantic City. Each attendee will be responsible to book and pay for their accommodations at the hotel. Please call the Comfort Inn directly at 609-484-1900 to make your reservation! Room reservations must be made by January 25th and you must mention the Heartland Owners Club when you register to receive the discount rate.

Room Rates:

King Bed: Fri. & Sun. $76.49/tx; Sat. $93.49/tx

Doubles Bed Fri. & Sun. $67.99/tx; Sat. $84.99/tx

You can book any combination of days and still receive the discount. After the 25th they are back @ full rate. Below is a list of the attendees so come on out and join us for a funfilled weekend!

I sent the preliminary list of show attendees off to Crossroads and we are all set there!

We had a great first night. Red solo cups compliments of Calvin and Judy and then out to dinner at the East Bay Crab & Grille. Returned to the hotel for an evening of laughter playing Left-Right-Center. This morning we are heading over to the convention center for the rv show.

Sounds like so much fun! Wish Harry and I could have joined you. That ol' work gets in the way.

We ended up going down Friday afternoon. Sorry we missed the gang from HOC. It was also sad to see our Crossroads salesman selling for a different dealer. However, for the first time, I was able to walk out of the show and not feel like I absolutely need to upgrade. Looks like the big thing this year is the outside kitchen.

I am cooking specialty waffles this morning for the group in the continental breakfast! Specialty is defined as regular or cinnamon batter? Butter or just syrup? Well it's the thought that counts right?Jim and Colleen were the only ones with enough energy reserve to go to the casino last night. The rest of us sat around licking our wounds and watching the Bud Shoot Out.

We want to thank our Heartland Rep, Joel Richardson for our lunch yesterday. Joel bought White House Hoagies for the show workers and we appreciate his kindness. Thank you Joel. If you are ever in Atlantic City be sure to check out the White House!

It was great to visit with some of our HOC friends yesterday at the AC show. We haven't found a rig we like as well as our BH 3185. We are looking forward to spending some time with everyone at the Delaware gathering in April.

Marie & John it is always an entertaining and pleasurable time when you guys are around. See you in Delaware!
