Make sure you go over it with a fine tooth comb. Everyone who is selling any item says that the article is wonderful. Ask to see maintenance and repair records. If you can get the VIN, you can ask Heartland if they have any records. Good luck!

If you suspend the service, yes. They deduct a service charge monthly to keep your account in force. If we're just taking a couple of months break, it's worth it.

Suspend service. Don't stop or turn it off. You will be billed a small amount each month.

Not familiar with your layout, but ours was doing that especially on hot days. Found out that if we opened our closet doors and let the entire room cool down, the thermostat seemed to settle down. We also shut the door to speed up the cooling, it helped. Martha

Our 2013 BH 3670RL is still going strong after many many days of use and miles. We make sure we do our routine maintenance and address any issues before they become big problems. We've not heard about a "slide falling off", but I'm sure that if it happened someone on this forum has information...

We pull our BH with our 2012 with no problems. We've gone all over the country.

We just open the appropriate tank when we do wash no matter where. If we're in a place without full hookups, we also wait for washing clothes until we can.

We've never found any system that worked long-term on our boats or campers. Just saying...... Martha

Pull the trailer to an empty parking lot and practice backing into spaces. It's really not difficult to master. Just need to practice it. If I learned on a large bumper pull and again on our 5th wheel. Martha

Been through all types of wind & precipitation (hail, sleet, snow, heavy rain) with no problems. We see others sweeping off their slides before they leave - no thanks.

When we ordered our 2013 BH in August 2012, we requested the stackable Splendides. Heartland prepped the trailer for them and the dealer installed them. Our cabinets have held up well.

Been our experience that the longer things made for frequent use (be it trailers, motorhomes, boats, cars, engines, appliances, etc), sit idle, the more parts don't work as intended when you begin using them again. Due to health issues, our trailer was only used for a couple of weeks last year...

We took our BH to an empty parking lot and practiced maneuvering there. We both got good at putting it where it needs to be. Also gave us the opportunity to hone our hand direction signals (and lessen the irritation).

Our 2013 3670RL is great. We've had to have our AC units replaced, our level up controller replaced and all our hydraulic lines replaced.

Re: Door frame damage Our shower hose sprang a leak in the hose and the molding looked like yours when all was said and done. Make sure that the dealer accesses the shower and makes sure it doesn't have a slow leak .

We take ours to a local campground at least a day in advance to load and make sure nothing has gone sideways since our last trip. It's worth the cost of an extra campground day.
