    Curt E16 Capcity

Correction to my previous reply - We have a Curt A16, not E16 as previously stated. Same rating, different design. I guess my memory is starting to go.

    Curt E16 Capcity

We have a Curt E16 and pull a trailer with a weight rating of 15,500 lbs and actual loaded weight of about 13,000 lbs. We haven't had any problems with it, but in retrospect I probably should have gone with a hitch rated at 18k just for the peace of mind.

    2015 Torque

I have a 2015 Torque 321 and the water pump is behind the pass through storage aft wall. Access is gained by removing the wall by removing several screws. The water pump is on the floor near the furnace. Hope this helps.

    Cheater Cord - 30 & 15 amp combiner

Re: Cheater Cord - 30 & 15 amp combiner GFCI works by comparing the current passing through the line (feed) conductor to the current passing through the neutral (return) conductor and opening the circuit if they do not match exactly. When the cheater adapter is plugged in, it connects the...

    Cheater Cord - 30 & 15 amp combiner

Re: Cheater Cord - 30 & 15 amp combiner I tried one of those things. It will not work if the electrical supply is protected by GFCI receptacles. As soon as you plug it in, it trips the GFCI. I haven't been to a park yet that at least the 110v receptacle wasn't GFCI. I think they probably have...

Price to good to be true?

We bought our unit from them in 2014 and did not have any problems with them. We picked up our unit at their place. They also offer delivery. The pre-delivery inspection was a bit brief, but the overall experience with them was good. You need to really research your unit beforehand to be sure...

2017 Torque 321 AC output lacking

We have a 2015 Torque 321 which may or may not be the same as your 2017, but we had the same problem and this is what worked for us. First we did the Tim K tent mod described on a sticky somewhere in the forum on the back ac and that made a tremendous increase in airflow out of the vents. We...

Waterproofing Missing on Underside - Wood Damage Underneath

About a year ago a similar situation occurred on my trailer slide out. One of the slide pull cables had come loose allowing a bottom roller to overload the waterproofing material. I sanded the spot down to good wood and used 'Splash Zone A-788, Half Gallon Kit - Pettit Paint' (google it) to...

    LP Gas Regulator

PDay1213 - The first failed regulator leaked from the weep hole. The second failed regulator worked for a while and then restricted flow so much that I could not keep a stove burner lit.

    LP Gas Regulator

Redharleymn - Is your trailer a 5th wheel with a factory installed generator? If so, there should be another LP regulator near the LP tank on the opposite side of the trailer from the auto switch over valve. This regulator is set at 30 psi and feeds the low pressure regulator at the auto switch...

    Leveling my Torque 321 Hints

I installed a set of JT Strongarm stabilizers on my Torque 321 and they made a tremendous improvement. The didn't eliminate 100 percent of the shaking, maybe about 80 percent, but they are well worth the investment.

    Torque 291 or 321?

Aside from all of the normal stuff in the Torque package, I got the second ac, the 5.5 Onan generator, 1 television, and I deleted the bunks and lift mechanisms in the garage (more room for toys). The shipping weight was listed as 11980. I weighed it after I had some personal items on board and...

    Torque 291 or 321?

Last year I had to decide between the 321 and the 325. The 12' garage was mandatory for me so the 291 was not considered. I went with the 321 which was right at my tow limit as well. My TV was a 2007 Chevy 2500 diesel. It towed very well, however, when I weighted it, it turned out that the pin...

New member and Torque 321 owners

Hi Jetmech36, We have a 2015 Torque 321 and have enjoyed it a great deal. It is a well designed trailer for us. There is however one land mine you should be aware of that we found out about the hard way. If the bedroom nightstand door on the slide out side happens to open up while travelling...

    Aluminum Wheel For Inner Dual

Also be sure the wheel studs on the rear end are long enough. The aluminum wheels may be thicker. I looked into doing that on my GMC and the studs were too short to allow full thread engagement.

    Gladiator Tires- G-Rated

I too went with Gladiator tires almost a year ago and about 3000 miles ago. So far no problems. I bought the QR35TR tire which is all steel cord. They also have a QR25TR which is a polyester/steel cord blend. It is quite a bit lighter than the all steel tire.

    Anyone blow a trailer tire?

My Towmax tires haven't blown out yet. Based on what I had read about them, I took them off of my new trailer as soon as I got home with it and put them in storage. I replaced them with G rated tires. So far, the TowMaxes haven't torn up my storage shed, but I am keeping a close eye on them!

RV Wholesalers or Jeff Couch's RV Nation?

We bought our Torque 321 from RV Wholesalers in Lakeview, OH. Very easy process and nice folks. The PDI was not as thorough as I would have liked. I would suggest developing a checklist before showing up to take delivery. Also, be prepared for the obligatory accessories sales pitch. There is a...

    Dometic AC problem

The same thing happened to one of our air conditioners. I removed the cover on the roof and found that a copper tube was vibrating against a portion of the a.c. frame when the compressor started. I bent the tube slightly with my hands to gain some clearance. Problem solved.

    Noisy Microwave (Highpoint) fan

You should talk to Heartland customer service about it. Mine was making a strange arcing noise. I called them about it and they sent me a new replacement. The new one works fine (and fairly quietly).

Draining water tank on my 380

Mtnmauler - I have a 2105 Torque 321 and the red and blue drains are connected to the hot and cold piping that goes to the tub/shower faucet, presumably to drain the water piping. When I winterized, I opened them and blew out the water with compressed air.

    Solar mounting

The rubber fender well nuts had been installed for about 12 years in my previous trailer. The rubber had hardened and degraded considerably. When I removed them, I did not even have to loosen the screws.

    Solar mounting

I used the fender well nuts with the expanding rubber to mount my solar panels on my previous trailer. While the solar panels did not blow off, when I removed the panels to install them on my new rig the fender well nuts pulled right out of the roof with little effort. I believe that lag screws...

    Solar mounting

I installed conventional framed solar panels that I removed from my previous trailer on my new rig using Z brackets. I drilled out the holes in the brackets a little so that I could use 1/4" lag screws to fasten them to the roof. Used lots of lap sealant on the screws and both sides of the...

Safety Inspections Required for Texas Trailers

I recently purchased a 2015 Torque 321 from a dealer in Ohio and towed it to my home in Texas where I was required to weigh the trailer and have a safety inspection done prior to being allowed to register it. The trailer would not pass the safety inspection because when the running lights were...
