Today while doing some work on the bed platform I noticed that the Nuts on the end of the cilinder rod were not snug against the mounting bracket. With the slide open the two Jam nuts were tight up against the bracket but the Nylock Nut was 3" away from the bracket ,this ment that when I closed the slide the cylinder rod would start to pull in but the slide would not move until the Lock Nut came in to contack with the bracket. I looked at my Lippert Components Manual and it states that all of the nuts should be tight against the bracket , I checked my other two slides and found the same thing, So my question is , which set up is correct ?
