Newby question #2

Can anyone tell me how many gallons per minute the shower head flows? We have not changed the head from the standard one that came with our Trail Runner. I have looked through the manuals and I don't see this spec anywhere (sorry if I missed it). Trying to figure out how to budget our on board water use. Thanks!

Some showers have flow restrictors in them, but I'd guess the more significant factor is how much water is flowing to the shower. Your pump is probably capable of 3 GPM.

You might just put a bucket under the shower head and see how long it takes to fill it.

Another consideration is that you may fill your shower gray tank before you empty the fresh water tank.

We installed a Waterpik shower head (sooooo much better) and then put a shutoff/flow reducer valve between the shower wand and the hose. That way we further restrict water flow and shut off the water to take navy showers when only operating on the fresh water tank.

The national standard is 2.5 GPM at 65 PSI.

Are you trying to save water or get better pressure??

Ours has 2.5 gpm stamped right on it, but that's got to be at max psi.
