Now I won't feel so bad when I add them to my truck. You right, the front of our coach is getting hammered too.

Next project
I'm going to try and fit all of this underneath my taunnoe cover canister in front of my toolbox.
There's a large empty space there that hopefully this will all fit in.
It's the VIAIR 200psi compressor and tanks system.

I need mud flaps as well on mine. I like your air compressor. One day I'll add one as well. Right now i just carry my big one around.

I'm planning out my install. I want to run air lines and quick connect at the front and rear of the truck and maybe one inside to blow off the floor mats. Like my big rig.

It's been a busy weekend for me.
I did the VIAIR 200psi Ultra Dudy Compressor system install. here's a bunch of pictures

I have this open space under my taunnoe cover and in front of my toolbox. My plan is to install everything under here.

My first plan was to bolt it all to the bed. But with that 48 gallon fuel tank, there's just not much access under there from the bottom.

I first thought of a piece of plywood, then came up with this plastic idea. It will last forever.
This is a 50" X 9" X 3/8" and was a bit pricey ($45) the end result was worth it.

I laid everything out so that the heads of the mounting bolts would be in the valleys of the runs in the pickup bed. The clearance was really tight maybe a 1/16" at the most.

I plumbed all of the air lines and electrical out the passenger side using the glad-hand seals. They really work good for this stuff.

I didn't want to use the twist type tank water drain, so I bought this cable pull type of drain. My first thought was to put it in the bottom of the tank like it was intended but some times they stick open or get plugged up and wont close. Then I'd have to pull out the tool box to get to it. Well I decided run it down below into a 1/4" bulkhead and run my pull cable back to the fender well for easy access.

They supply a analog air gauge in the kit, I wanted to take it one step further and bought a double digital gauge with the sensors. Now I just have to run a small wire harness into the cab instead of air lines. I will have one on this 200psi system and one one my air bags. I still waiting for more parts to finish this part of the project.

Now on to my Quick-coupler placement. I put one in my side fuel and DEF compartment and one in the bed of the truck at the rear. I may still put one up front behind a flip down license plate bracket.

As for may fresh air vent, I wanted to be able access it to clean or change the filter so I ran it up the side just past the tool box.

Yes Jim my first thought was a piece of plywood, but I didn't want it to rot away in there. This will last forever. Now the entire thing can be removed with just a few screws. All in 1 package.

looks good Jerrod. I like how you adopted the truck pull for air tank bleeding

I first used HDPE (High-density polyethylene - Amazon.com) on my last coach to raise up my MORryde cargo tray. Like you, I wanted something that would be unaffected by moisture.

Recently, I used a scrap of HDPE to mount an electronics project onto in order to simply mount the HDPE to the wall instead of all the electronics components.

You know I am looking at your electronics and I see a remote tied into and I am now wondering what are you up to?

Jim, looks like you have designed a device to control your new coach's lights and a door with your cell phone - come on now, let's spill the beans

Are you going to use the Amazon Echo option also?

Hi guys - I don't want to hijack Jerrod's thread to detail my stuff. Soon, as time allows, I'll add more context on my own new mod thread. For now, sorry no articles - you'll just have to look at the pictures :) link

Jim, thanks for the link and "sneak peek". Hopefully you will start a journal explaining all these mods, I'm sure there are many Heartlanders with interest. Very interesting as to the options available with the "Coach Proxy" system, especially with being you already have the RVLocks and "Multiplex" lighting system. Enjoy my friend and please keep all of us posted as to your progress. Safe Travels.

Hi jerod, your mods are great.keep going.have you came up with something to pull awning down? Also when you changed to theater seating did you bolt them down are they just set where you put them?

Thanks Kathi
I'm using this gadget right now. I actually made this to pull off my Ford rear hub caps. They are really hard to pop off.
It also work to grab the side of the awning and pull it down.
As for the Theater seating they're just sitting there. We did mount them down and they barely move at all.
