    Roof mounted satellite dish

We have a roof mount on our Landmark and it does work flawlessly, except when you are enjoying the shade of the trees. We like to camp in state and federal parks. We also have the Carry-Out and have had to use it more times than you would think. On one trip, it was the only way to get TV for...

    Propel HPR Diesel Fuel

Bio-diesel. Get ready to change your fuel filters. Bio is a better fuel for lubrication and the environment with about the same energy as crude oil diesel. Only bad thing about it, it is excellent cleaner. It will break loose any gunk in any tank it sets in.

    Grey tank questions

If you have the cable operated valve, I will bet you have them leaking. After some time, it is just about impossible to get them to close fully. I fought our bath grey valve for several years, until last year, it had a 6' cable to operate it. I changed both greys out to Barker electric...

Reverse Osmosis - Who's doing this in their RV?

I installed an RO system in or Landmark 6 years ago and haven't looked back. On an average 2 week trip, we would go through 4 cases of bottled water, 12-15 gallons of jugs for drinking, cooking, making coffee and tea and watering the dogs. In our rig, there is a panel under the kitchen sink that...

Check with your tire dealer, they have charts that list tire dimensions, overall height, section width, etc.. You can compare the OE size with other tire sizes. If you know the brands of tires you're interested in, you can find the charts on the manufactures website as well.

    Auxiliary Gate Valve for Dump

The cable operated valves are the problem, they just don't get closed tight. I replaced the cables with Barker electric units, they close tight every time and let you know when they are closed, ( indicator light ). The Barker units were less than $30 more than the replacement cables.

Landing Gear Problems (Electrical and Mechanical)

Check your battery condition and make sure the connections are clean and tight. Low voltage will make the motor run hot, burn the contacts in the switch, blow fuses, burn wires, etc... If your battery is 3 years old or older, you really need to get it load tested, and consider replacing it.

17" wheels for 09 Landmark, available?

When looking for new tire and wheel combo for our rig, I found 17.5 was the only thing available for a "Trailer" specific wheel. As far as the 17" tires, they are going to be marginal at best. The 17" tires on my dually are rated for 3,200 pounds, the 17.5" I installed on or trailer are rated...

    Bighorn - waste valves

Re: ATF: Bighorn - waste valves Barker makes an electric actuator that attaches to the valve. Get a seal kit for the valve, some silicone grease, and install your self. I did both of my grey valves in a afternoon. The valve isn't the problem, it is the cable. It won't let you push the valve...
