keep a log of everything in relation to who & when you have contact regarding your issue, whether it's a call, email, letter or text message. Been there & had good luck witjh Heartland warranty issue
either a leak or air still in system, run your hot water little bit =, if air is in the HW tank that should purge it out. Keep a lookout for a leak could be anywhere in the piping. Good luck
have the battery(ies) been load tested, that's the 1st thing to check. Yes grounding could become a problem at any time, the grounding points should be checked . If you are comfortable doing some work yourself Lippert has just introduced a new program for RV owners for this type of problems. VRA...
nice to know things are looking up for you. with the MyHeartlandRV app you can keep track of your RV, that's how I found out about a claim before I took delivery of unit.
if it's under warranty why isn't Heartland paying for the removal of the tank? Call Heartland yourself & see what they say. Keep notes of who, when & what is said & done!!! Been there done that with Heartland on my warranty issues few years ago
if it's the same breaker all the time & it will not reset by switching it off then back on either it's overloaded or a dead short in the wiring. Shorting wiring is hard to finding where the short is located as that could be almost anywhere in that circuit wiring. Overloaded circuits just have...
best bet would be to call Heartland customer service with the last 6 numbers of your VIN handy. They could tell you, it might have been an option for that model.
for the sky light I'd cqall Heartland customer service, have the last six #'s of your VIN handy they should be able to tell you the skylight part # & if they have one in stock.
Look at the tools tab above & scroll though it, tons of info for just about anything there.
Good luck & ask away
I'd remove the batteries make sure they are fully charged & take them to an automotive parts store & have them tested(load). They will be able to tell you if any or all are bad. Another test is using a battery hydrometer after the battery is fully charged uo the meter & compare the readinds in...
I'd get the Lippert Communities app & join (it's free) then check out their support documents / video tab. You can also post your question about the 4 degree angle.
if you have a residential style frig should work on shore power or an inverter (battery 12DCV to 120ACV ). If you have dual source (120vac / propane/12vdc) you should have an "ON" BUTTON to push in & an "AUTO" button; when in AUTO mode the frig will work on either source automatically. If the...
get the Lippert Communities app, there you will find all of the documents for testing & troubleshooting the leveling system PLUS you can post your issue and get answers asap from members(Scouts) or a Lippert tech.
you have to close the two valves that are connected to the tank & OPEN the 1 valve that's in the line between the other two lines that are connected to the tank.
just ask away that's what so great about this forum, someone has been there or seen it. Lots of information in the above Tools tab. We have a 40' 5th wheel toyhauler & it's our very 1st rv.
my rule of thumb is anything less than 27-28 for 4 plus hours overnight & less than 45-50 daytime high's blow it out. If it staying less than 26-28 for overnight & in the 30's for highs I then add RV anti-freeze. Good luck
the Fuel brand is sold by CW and the Torques is sold elsewhere, both are made by Heartland & the layouts ,spec's ,etc are almost identical. We have a 18 Torque 327
call Heartland customer service & have last six numbers of your VIN ready & ask if any warranty claims have been submitted. Then you'll know that much. Oh document every thing might need that info later on.
I'm sure someone on here can help ypu out with whatever problem you may have. Just post/ask away & see what happens; kinda what I did 3 yeaers ago when we purchased our 1st RV & like you it's a 40' 5th wheel.
to answer your questions; ?1- nothing you can do untill power is restored; ? 2- make sure the wire connections are tight on the ATS, especially the ground and netural wires , the coils within the ATS must have a good connection or they will drop out and then you lose power.
