We love Manchester Maine, its the home of Orvis sporting goods if you're a fisherman. I also second Old Forge, NY we go two or three times a year but stay in our friends cabin. If you're planning on going into the adirondacks stay at the KoA in Lake Placid its a wonderful area and tons to do/see.
Finally got my new wheels and tires installed today. Got a great deal on the new goodyear endurance so i figured I'll be everyones guniea pig and see how they hold up. Went with same size and rating as the stock blowmax's. Hope goodyear hit a homerun with them. T

So i pulled off the power supply wall plate and think i found the problem, the tv2 antenna jack has broken solder joints on the board. A check with my DMM shows only tv1 was getting 12v. I'm going to order a replacement and see how that goes.
Hey everyone, looking for some troubleshooting advice here. I just swapped out my batwing for the king jack replacement head. Had no trouble other than the red light on the antenna wont come on. The red light on the tv wallplate in bedroom does however. I can deduce from other post here that...
We use the pure power blue liquid. I dump some down toilet before it gets filled and then after i flush tank before departure i will add some with a few gallons of water. Knock on wood my tank sensors have always worked. I also dump alittle down the sink drain to deoderize the grey tank.
I already tryed and nothing came in. The mountains around the town were i live form kinda a bowl and its tough to even pick up radio stations, then my house is at the foot of one and that makes it impossible to get any signals, i cant even get satellite for tv.
Hopefully gonna get a chance this weekend to dewinterize and try it out, i just reused old hose and mount, seemed sturdy enough for me. As for the king jack guess I'll have to wait to see intil our first trip as where we live theres no over air stations close enough to pick up out here in rural PA.
Busy weekend, installed a king jack replacement antenna head, oxygenics fury shower head, 3" lift blocks and a set of jt strongarms. Waiting on my new wheels/tires to show up so i can finish the whole thing. Cant wait to try everything out. The sundance is finally going to ride level going down...
Looks great, did the same with my sundance. I used blue rope lights attaching them with cable clamps using the existing self tapping screws that hold upnthe coroplast.
Just got a new 16ft trailer to haul the kubota on. Its got dexter torflex torsion axles, wow does this thing pull nice. Its a exceptionally well built trailer. If you're in the market for a trailer i highly recommend CornPro and bennetts trailers outa salem Ohio. Im putting these same...
I think thats exactly how I'll do it, i have 4 HD 6ton jack stands and bottle jacks. I wanted to do the equflex equalizer's at the same time but they are shorter than the solid equilizers that came stock. I've looked at all brands of equilizers and none are tall enough.
We use those on our work trucks and they are ok IMHO. I would look into other brands before spending the money on those. We use them pretty hard and only average about 20-25k miles on them at the very most. They are to aggressive for a strict towing rig but if you need the lugs for other things...
My Sundance has had same problem since i bought it 3yrs ago, i still clean it off once In a while. Just make sure to put some wax back on after you clean it off. I used mineral spirits and it will remove theglue and any protective wax thats been applied.
Finally got to try out the new dmax. Pulled the sundance home from storage. Wow what a difference! While there was no doubt i was yanking around 10k lbs it actually had plenty of throttle left unlike the gasser did. I'm afraid I've gotten bitten by the diesel bug, lol. I cant wait to get the ez...
Got the Sundance out of storage and replaced the bathroom faucet. The before
and after .... Getting ready to install dexter ez flex equilizers and jt strongarms.
Not sure what tabs you're talking about but i also recommend the maxx air cover. I did have to attach the additional hardwar though I didn't machine bolt on the brackets i just used stainless steel self drilling screws to attach the brackets to vent frame.
So is it my understanding that the frame looked good when you purchased it and it has rusted that bad since you purchased it? If not that means the frame and undercarriage were rusty when you bought it, i understand that it shouldn't be rusting that fast but its also something you should've seen...
~Update~ Little miss Emerson is now 8 1/2 pounds (born 2 1/2 pounds) and doing wonderfully. She is eating her full bottles now so we haven't had to use her G feeding tube in over a month. Have to have a hernia fixed sometime this summer but its a very minor surgery. Weather is starting to get...
I am thinking I'll try four bottle jacks and lift slowly until the entire trailer is off the ground enough to do the work while setting up cribbing along the way so if a jack fails it cant slam down to far. I will check/repack bearings at the same time. I'm just nervous about twisting something.
I am about to install the axle lift blocks and new wheels/tires on my sundance Xlt fiver. I'm looking for help/advice on the best way to lift this sucker off the ground. I have access to bottle jacks and an almost unlimited supply of heavy oak cribbing. Anyone done anything like this or am i...
On my old Superduty i made a label with my brady labelmaker that just had the code number on it and stuck it to the inside of my tailgate lip near the brake light housing.
I have a few Yeti's in differant sizes of tundra and a hopper and have looked at the other manufacturers but never was impressed enough to save the extra $$. Yeti coolers have spawned a slew of clones at much cheaper prices in the last few years, yet my buddy who is a yeti dealer says he sells...
Trailer wheels and tires.com. Before i payed anyone to refinish them id buy new ones. Trailer wheels are fairly reasonably priced. My buddy owns a trucking company and pays about $50 a wheel to have them professionally buffed, then a year later again, then again, you see the pattern right...
Imo, Id get a reputable auto mechanic to do the job, they might even be able to chase the threads with the proper die and not even have to replace it. If not i wouldn't have any reservations about driving to a shop only 14 miles away.
Thats exactly how i did mine. Hitch up, lift rear of truck slightly with trailer tongue jack then tension torsion chains, lower trailer tongue back down. Worked great.
I had timbrens on my old Ford and have no complaints, if my new Gmc sags alittle more than i like when i hitch up for the first time this year I'll buy them again.
The bridgestone or firestones I'm looking at have great reviews and are more than adequate for the job. Michelins are definitely a good tire but for the huge price difference I probably wont go with them, thanks for the suggestions anyway👍.
Re: Opinions on going from 15" ST tires to 16" LT
What did you end up going with then? You did exactly what i wsnt to then, lifting the trailer a tad.

The Lt tires are rated for 2680lbs which is higher than the St maxxis which are rated for 2540lbs. The Lt's...
So I'm in the market for new tires to replace my blowmax's. I'm debating wether or not to just replace them with the same spec'd maxxis or im leaning more towards upgrading to 16"rims with Lt225/75r16 bridgestone duravis tires. They have a slightly higher load rating yet basically the same size...
So I'm looking to replace the tires and possibly the rims as well. I have a Xlt fiver. Im wondering if anyone has gone up a size to lift trailer a tad. My new TV is higher than old one and I'm looking to gain some height. If need be I'll go to 16" rims if i have to. Any advice would be...
Welcome from another Pennsylvanian. We live in north central PA. I'm assuming you purchased from Wilkins RV. Thats where we bought ours. We were very happy with the purchase/deal, not so much with their service dept..
