Our tank indicators never worked from the time we picked it up new. I just eventually figured out how to gauge how quickly the tanks would fill up based on what we were doing.
I have been trying to figure this out on our 2021 Milestone for the past year. Put gutters on both sides and it fixed one but not the other. It is usually only an issue during heavy rain.
Just keep taking out screws until it comes out.
The hard part is if you want it to come out nicely without any cracks. They often build from the inside out stapling boards in to hide screws. Getting those boards out without cracking them can be challenging.

When we bought our Milestone, the dealer couldn’t figure out how to put that box together properly so they just left the lid off. I told them to just give me the screws and I would do it myself. That was a year and and it’s still sitting in there with no lid.
To that point, it’s just a plastic...
It looks like it was some kind of insulation that has broken free. After taking the cover off, they used this to seal some of spaces in the styrofoam. Not sure if I should touch up the holes or not.
As far as the sound, I am pretty sure it’s the fan shaft. Does anyone know the proper lubricant...
Hopefully, you are making progress with these issues! One thing I wanted to suggest if you are still having issues with the slides leaking, is to stand outside while it's raining to see how water is flowing on the slides.
I was able to finally track down a water leak in ours by watching the...
Our bedroom AC is making an odd noise when the fan kicks on and I was trying to investigate. It almost sounds like a high-pitched whistling noise. I thought some of the tape might have come loose so I took off the cover for the filter and found this sitting on the filter material.
Any idea what...
These work well for straight runs, but they often will not work if there is a splitter in the run.
In our previous Travel Trailer, I had to drop the ceiling due to some water damage, and there was a coax running from the antenna to the splitter which then ran to the front and back of the RV...
We did this on our previous Travel Trailer on all 3 of the slideouts. Overall it looked good but the nose trim was a pain to deal with and I didn't like how much weight it added to the slides.
Whenever we are in place long enough, we plan on replacing the carpet on our kitchen slide in our...
We have a 2021 Milestone 370flmb which has 3 skylights. The kitchen and bathroom skylights open via a motor with the 3rd above the loft just a manual handle.
The kitchen and bathroom work fine, but recently, the bathroom will not stay shut. It seems like whatever mechanism is supposed to lock...
Is there any improvement over just using the normal weights? I had mine balanced when I had all the tires changed. I watched the guy doing it since he was handing the tires directly to me, it only took a few minutes per wheel.
We travel full time and usually follow the warm weather. But occasionally we have to had to deal with some cold weather to fit everything into the schedule. For me personally, once it starts getting into the low 30s and below, I find the RV pretty uncomfortable. You can keep the air warm in the...
I would agree with sengli. I also second not using screws that are too long as they will scratch the floor when you move the slide. I may have found that out the hard way .
What kind of wax do you use? Does it end up catching a lot of dirt and need to be completely removed and then re-applied?
I have been thinking about greasing the bottom of our flush slides with the spray that LCI recommends for the slides. It has Teflon and is not supposed to pick up dirt.
We faced the same issue on our previous Travel Trailer. One side had 2 slides, including a very long one for the living room area, and the other side only has 1 slide. As cookie stated, you just need to learn how much of a change there is going to be when the slides come out. For ours, we knew...
I have been using the Garmin 890 for the last year and a half and it's pretty easy to read. The 1090 is even bigger so I would imagine the display would be even easier to read. Given the price tag, I am not head over heels for the Garmin. I typically have to run Google Maps and the Garmin at the...
I had to replace the slide subfloor in our previous travel trailer due to water damage. I decided to cut the floor and only replace about 1/3 of it since it only had water damage in the corner. I used some metal mending strips to hold the two separate pieces together so you wouldn't feel one sag...
I'm not familiar with the capabilities of that truck, but I would say if it doesn't have some kind of engine braking that does most of the work while going down steep grades, I would be concerned with the brakes in some of the areas that have steep grades that are several miles long. If the...
Yes, I am seeing the same thing in our 2021 Milestone. I was worried it was some kind of water damage when I first noticed it, but after studying it, you can pretty much follow the staple lines all the way across. That's when I realized it was whatever they used to cover up the staples turning...
When I bought our truck, there was a tow ball that I couldn't remove so the Anderson was a happy coincidence as it was the only thing that was in stock locally. I have never used a traditional 5th wheel hitch, so I can't make a direct comparison, but I like the Anderson and have no complaints...
A lot of Travel Trailers have what are called non-walkable roofs. This is due to the way the roof is constructed to save weight. In my last TT, the truss members were just thin pieces of metal that didn't look like they would hold much weight. If you are on the lighter side (maybe sub 200), you...
If you can't find an exact replacement for the original, you may be able to find a cheap countertop to use from some place like IKEA. We ended up replacing our entire table with a table from IKEA. Gives us some additional draw storage, and both sides fold out which allows us to seat 8.
Good...
That is kind of an odd product to try and push, and also a poor placement for the charger. If you wanted to actually use it, seems like you would need to leave a good amount of space open to get to it.
Thanks for the info!
The location for our W/D was in the middle of the rig (Milestone 370flmb) in a closet which left us with limited options. There was no place for a dryer vent, and if we went with a stackable unit, we would have lost the use of the closest for any clothes.
We ended up going with a combo ventless...
Don't forget that anything you have loaded in your truck may be subtracting from your towing capacity due to the GCVWR.
With our previous RV, we were well within our towing capacity when looking at just tow weight, but after weighing the RV and van and figuring out the different weights, we...
It's hard to tell exactly what is going on from this picture, but it looks like the front cap has let go and is no longer securely attached in that area. If that is the case, then when it was installed, they either didn't use long enough screws or did not correctly hit the roof truss that should...
The Torque T31 looks to be a Travel Trailer, not a Fifth Wheel.
I thought the same thing though when I saw toy hauler though.

Yes, the doors are attached to a track inside that top metal piece. Just be careful when removing the doors as they are much heavier than they look! Once you have removed the screws holding in the metal track, you can just lift straight up on the metal piece, and doors will come along for the...
I would highly recommend having it inspected by a certified inspector. That way, you won't be surprised by any issues that may already exist, or perhaps are on their way to becoming an issue. I wish I had done with both my purchases (one new, one used).
I have had the valve stuck open on our previous RV. If that is the only issue with the valve, then you can try putting some silicone lube on the metal part of the valve that is attached to the handle that slides in and out. That did the trick for me.
If the valve is the cable type, then I am...
I would go for a DRW. Our Milestone has a GVWR of 15k and after weighing everything, our hitch weight ended up being about 3.5k just for the RV alone and doesn't count the tools and everything else I have in the truck. If I remember correctly, it would have been difficult to find an SRW to...
Luckily, given the spot it's in, you could opt for a DIY repair. There are adhesives that essentially glue the layers back together.
Your first step would be to fix the leak, otherwise, whatever fix you apply would just be temporary.
Taking the window out is fairly easy and just requires...
The RV tech doing our walkthrough with us when we purchased our Milestone didn't even know what the hitch height button did for the Ground Control system. He said he would have to find their master tech but couldn't say how long that would take. At that point, there were actually two techs...
I don't want to argue, but I think you may be missing the point about running the AC vs keeping the inside cool by opening the window. There are some people, such as myself, that enjoy having the windows open and the noisy AC's off. Nothing wrong with either option, but some people are going to...
