Picked up unit from shop after getting repairs. Now my fuel tank gauge doesn’t work! I am not taking it back to the dealer- long horrible experience- for them to repair this.
It appears that they removed the control panel at some point - I can tell due to the shodyy way it was put back in-...
Hello there. We just traveled from IL to AR and hooked up at the campsite. Half of our plugs are not working when connected to shore power or generator. No GFCI fault apparent our fuses or breakers that we can see.
Any ideas or thoughts? We have Cyclone 4100 and I only know of the two...
Took the unit to dealership for warranty work for issues with both slides. The kitchen slide is leaving an indention on my kitchen floor.
The bedroom slide is eating into the carpet in two places. Keep in mind this unit is a 2016, we have had it for 5 months and both of these issues were...
Re: So disappointed...
I wanted to update everyone because I like to give praise where it is needed and not complain all the time. I called Heartland driectly and they worked it out with me. I was sent the transfer switch and had a local service guy install it. Problem solved. It just...
Re: So disappointed...
It's not the generator breakers. We checked that. Incidentally, we already had an electrical issue with the junction box the week we bought the unit. The wires weren't wrapped good and they arced off the metal box causing no electric that time as well.
I'm pretty sure...
Re: So disappointed...
That is good to know. Will they still warranty if we are able to do this temp fix?
Also, will it run off of shore power now? We aren't to shore power yet but thinking if I can find some that might get us through until Tuesday. Thanks for the info.
Im not typically one to complain but things happen and we move on. But we have 5 month old unit and it seems like every trip it's something else going wrong. We already have a list of issues from the factory that need to be resolved like cracked windows and windows that won't open, etc. Our...
We have had our Cyclone for a few months now and have quite a laundry list of items that need repair. However, this is busy season for us and we are in the unit full time until the fall. That coupled with the repair shops around me are on a 2-3 week waiting list, we cannot be without the unit...
I dont think my question was clear. Sorry. We have a 20156 4100 with the residentail frdige and inverter package. There is not the normal switch for auto/gas/etc like on other models I have seen.
Well, mobile guy came and didn't know what it was. He did retract the awning for me and said he would be back with a fix. He called Carefree and they didn't know what it was either. Thanks for posting the manual.
Thanks so much. I thought the awning was sitting a little low! This is very helpful. I sure appreciate it. Now if I can get the dealership with this awesome warranty service they always talk about to call me back so I can get it fixed.
Not a silly question because I dont even know what you are talking about. The dealer didn't show us anything of the nature. please explain.
Also, the ACs never shut off regardless of what temperature they are on. The run full speed all the time when on cool and it never fully cools off even...
Well, another trip in day one and not good luck.
In addition to what seems to be issues with all 3 ACs- now the rear awning will not retract. It clicks like its getting power but nothing happens. This is the second time I have had it out. So frustrating! Less than a month old and seems like...
2016 4100. When the ACs are running, they never cycle off from the compressor to the fan only. Therefore, making the thermostat inoperable. No matter what we set teh termostats on, they run non stop pumping cold air.
Our other camper has same style unit and when we set it on 70, once it gets...
So, I am perplexed about a few things and womndered if any of you know the answers or can tell me how you fixed things:
Shower hose holder- screws came loose from the stupid clear plastic "holder" day 4. any bright ideas on better solution for that?
Switches: I have two switches on the outside...
So, on our 4100, there is a little ledge next to bed under the window, which is very useful. My husband does not have this on his side of the bed. Is that intentional? Would make sense that both sides should have this ledge/table.
So, the dealer did not fully have answers for our tanks so hopefully someone here knows.
I see I have 2 black tanks and 2 gray tanks. I assume one black tank is for the front bathroom and one for the rear bathroom. How large are these tanks?
The gray water tanks- dealer said one is for...
Thanks to all that replied. We pick up ours tomorrow. After I called Heartland myself, our unit mysteriously arrived at the dealer!
I saw a delviery checklist of sorts on this forum somewhere that I planned to reference before I leave the dealership but now cannot find it. Any one know where...
I called Heartland myself and they said it was completed and offline but they are checking to see where it is. Dealer tells me they are only a few hours away and go pick it up themselves. Who knows. I am getting very aggravated with this process. Nobody seems to have any ugency. Thanks for...
We have an order placed and was told the offline date would be 4/20. To date, I have been unsuccessful at getting the dealership or Heartland to find out where my unit is and when I can pick it up. Just curious what everyone's experiences were?
Thanks!
