I would agree with this comment. I like the way they have the ones tied in on my 2018. Better yet would be the two sinks into one and the shower by itself. I have seen, but could not find the post but somewhere the owner tied the two grey tanks together where they would equalize thus making...
I have a 2018 Fuel 305. It has a black tank and two gray tanks. The readout are Black, Gray, and Aux. The Gray is hooked to the tank that receives the bath sink and shower and the Aux is hooked to the Kitchen sink. Not sure if they still connect like this or not. It should be noted that...
Check that the fuse is plugged in correctly on the board. It is real easy to plug in one leg of the fuse and miss the second. If so it maybe be making slight connection.
Fortunately or unfortunately, depends on what you like, about 95% of my trips are to locations that do not have water and sewer hook ups. Thus I usually have a full load of water.
Had the same issue on my Fuel 305. I found that the metal was too thin for self tapping screws to stay in. I used threaded rivets 1/4 - 20 to replace all the fasteners. That was about two years ago and so far they have been holding.. These bars have a a lot of weight on them. My fresh water...
I have not been able to measure but 22" sticks in my head. Based on the above comment that would match up as the hitch typically has to be higher. Hope this helps.
I think I have the same fan in my 2018 Fuel 305, It is 12v and has a brushed motor. I had issues with mine working sometimes and not working other times. I could tap on the side of the motor and it would sometimes start. I noticed that there was a clicking inside the motor. What I found when...
Was on the RV when I purchased it, it is a Furrion Model FOD43TA-BL It seems to work well. It is reasonably clear and functions well while traveling. I have not had any reception issues at all. I think there maybe other options now that include additional cameras on the sides as well. As...
It is prepped, but my Fuel was wired in the running lights thus you had to have the running lights on for the camera to work. I rewired the camera to a normal 12v circuit and installed a switch so I do not have to run headlights during the day. Note I use the camera as a rearview while...
Please see pages 57 and 58 of the document below. Note that the traile axles should be off the ground so it can be rotated freely during the greasing. Based on my experience it takes about 3/4 to 1 tube of grease to get the new grease to come out the end. Note also to be sure you leave air...
Check out the modification below. There are a couple of companies that sell molded foam pieces that accomplish the same thing. This helped the air flow from my unit a lot. You will still only be able to get about 10 to 20 degrees reduction from ambient temp...
If the pump does runs the suction side could have a hole in it but, i also had to put some fuel in the discharge side by pouring some into it and allow the fuel to drain back into the pump. The pump had dried out and would not pump but pumped fine after priming it.
As for #2. I have a 2018 Fuel 305 and I had to adjust the automatic choke significantly tighter(closed) to get it to start anytime it was cold. Also when very cold(30 degrees) I still have to sometimes manually hold the choke closed till the first crank. When you prime the unit you should hear...
the Mopekas Pro sensors are for pressurized tanks per their web site. Their TD-40 sensors are for non-pressurized tanks but are top of tank mounted? See below. I am interested in what you are trying to do so I am monitoring your success.
Thanks...
I have had issues with spiders building nest inside the gas burner. Sometimes it will not or is very difficult to light until I blow out the chamber with compressed air.
Not the same RV, but mine was under the bathroom sink behind the access panel for the water pump. It was up high enough if you did not get down and look up under the sink you would not see it.
My outside speaker lights are on any time the radio is on. This is the case even if the outside speakers are not selected to play per the zone selection.
I have a Fuel 305 which I believe to be the same floor plan as the Torque 285. Mine is an older 2018 but it has three tanks. One Black and two gray tanks. The way mine is plumbed is the kitchen sink goes to the gray tank to the rear and the shower and the bathroom sink goes to the front gray...
Is the thermostat installed on an outside wall or on a wall that is somehow seeing cooler temps then the actual air temp inside? If the actual temp on the stat is showing 63 then that is what it is controlling around.
I am confused with your comment "poured water into Backflush" The blackflush system is designed to be used with pressurized water from a hose. It have a multi hole nozzle that sprays several areas in the tank with high pressure. In addition to this after the initial drain, I find it useful to...
If yo only get it when you flush, You may want to search on toilet problems. I remember reading a post about an issue with waste water remaining in the toilet assembly and causing a similar issue.
My insurance agent has me on Erie for home and auto but put me on Progressive RV for my ToyHauler because they said it was much cheaper. I do like it and it seems reasonable. I also got a set agreed upon value for RV on the policy with some additional coverage for items inside the trailer.
My guess if the stove top is Ok then it is probably an issue with the thermal safety on the pilot. You mentioned it was aligned with the pilot flame so it maybe a defective safety. Make sure the pilot flame stays aligned when the large burner ignites.
I do not have the 287, I have a 305, but the suction hose is connected to a three way valve less than 2" from the fresh water connection on the suction side of the pump. My pump is located under the bathroom sink.
If the invertor is still providing 120 v power without the shore power, I would assume you still have 12v power to the inverter. If this is the case and only the other 12v is missing I believe you may have blown or tripped a breaker on the 12 volt supply. If your inverter is only providing...
I have a 2018 Fuel 305 and the transfer switch is mounted on top of the breaker/fuse panel/convertor next to/below the frig. It does appear that you have a solar charge controller installed(previous owner?). Do you already have a solar panel as well? On my unit the solar prep only consisted...
I don't think there is much difference except from my observation it appears that the Fuel models come standard with more upgrade options than the Torque models. Such as on my Fuel 305 the generator option appeared to be standard. with that said I really do not know how the price points...
As information I tried the same and the reception was much better with the older crank up antenna. I removed the new one and returned it and used the old one.
I had an issues with my slide getting wet from the bottom while driving in rain. Located over the wheels. The seal at the bottom of the slide had a 1" gap before sealing. I had to add an additional sealing strip as well as some waterproofing to stop the wetness.
I can think of a few things that could be an issue. The high speed of the fan motor is burned out, The high speed relay in the control panel is not working properly.
I have used these when a larger screw will not work. This is what Dometic recommends.
