Does anyone have a way to monitor the temperature or how the pets are acting when left alone. My concern is electricity failure and it getting too hot for them.

Sometimes it does not open immediately but you can hear the motor trying. It will stop and start up again. If and when it opens it will still move between open and close positions but not closing all the way. We lubricated the seal and it is still acting the same. It is about 5 years old.

Can the RV store test the sp to see if it is bad? We didn't test the pedestal but a worker at the park did. It is a highly rated park. Unfortunately all this happened after 7 tonight. I guess tomorrow we will have to get over there and look into it further.

Alaska Dodge is the fuse you are talking about outside by the heater? We are having the issue of the gas works and the electric does not. I am reading through for ideas. All are much appreciated.

Thanks Chuck for your write up, it was instrumental in getting our toilet put back together. Our flush ball was stuck open so we pulled it all apart per your directions and cleaned it up and now it is working great. No parts needed.

On the stove we have the metal folding cover. We have the two pieces for the sink that we store on top of the stove when we are not using. Sometimes when there are four of us in there we cover one sink for more space. We are not rolling in counter space in our bighorn.

Well it is official we dropped the kids off at college in August and this will be our first trip as empty nesters. At least we still have our fur babies. We have been blessed that our kids have enjoyed camping with us up until college and we have a family camp trip planned for the holidays...

We replaced the sofa sleeper with a love seat wall hugger with recliners. We replaced the chairs with some Euro style. Love the new set up.

How much is it to renew? I also lost the plaque off the ladder and wanted another.

We tend to do sandwiches or if I had time to prepare something to leave in the fridge. Many times before I leave home (not fulltiming yet) I will make a big batch of chili mac or bean soup and freeze ahead of time. While on the road it is thawing in the fridge.

We are looking to head out on Christmas Break and find a nice place to see the stars. Looking for any good ideas of places that will be dark enough. We are so lit up in the city, someone suggested Pedernales Falls.

I am happy our dealer called and 'really' recommended them to us. At that time we decided to add them and I am glad we did. I will start pulling in the slides to dump them after the hard rains, thanks for the tips.

Nice to know they work. We have had one for about a year and it has been a peace of mind.

Anything facing outside will be closed because of the sun but on our back window it stays up and we have a blackout curtain.

After reading lots today, we took off the cover and realized the cold air tube was loose and we were losing our could air back in with the return air. That is now fixed and is staying on. It does need some cleaning so maybe in the morning we will go up top and see what we can do with both a/c's.

We have a dometic a/c unit installed in the bedroom and it tends to freeze up and shut off or not blow hard, if we catch it before it cuts off. We actually had chunks of ice fall out the other day, usually it just drips periodically. This a/c only has dials for blower settings and how cold. It...

When we first got ours we did stop and talk to others more. Now if they are out we will talk to them. You never know who is out there.

We have an access panel just below the handles. Once you remove that you can get to the back of the faucet. I believe they just screw on.

We recently noticed our skylight was leaking and when we could went up to check it out and noticed several cracks. For now we have used caulk and other sealant to better waterproof it. I was told by someone that they do not last very long and we should plan on replacing every year.
