Axeltek Shock Absorber Broken

2007 3200ES Sundance. Today while cleaning brakes and repacking bearings, we discovered right (passenger side)rear shock was broken. The bottom mounting stud was sheared, broken and missing. I'm curious if anyone has experienced this and what was your choice of replacement. Thanks !! Tony 340cuda

I have had a broken shock.
You should be able to get a replacement at an auto parts store.
Take in the old one and they can match it up.

We have a 2011 BH and had this happen on the same side as yours, only on both the front and the rear axles, on two different occasions. This was telling me there was a problem, what I did was add a short piece of metal with holes on opposite ends bolted it down where the shock is now bolted (at the frame) moved the shock over to that second hole which changed the angle of the shock just a bit, (not as much angle) haven't had that problem since.
