Heartland VIN #'s

Being curious by nature.......sometimes to a fault according to my loving wife.....I cannot simply look at a long string of numbers and letters like the VIN for our new BC without knowing what each character stands for.

Anyone out ther know??? ........or maybe I should ask if anyone cares
