How many miles on your tow vehicle

I had 260,000 on my Chevy diesel when I sold it, my Dodge had 260,000 on it when I sold it to my brother and he is still driving it. I just turned 40,000 on my 2013 Duramax the other day and plan on keeping it past 200,000.

2008 3500 Ram with almost 130k and going strong. Will likely outlast my new trailer. Can't beat the Cummings straight 6 for durability.

Have 119k on ours. I use it from time to time to do errands in town but most of the miles are towing. Tossed around the idea of buying new this summer but just couldn't do it. There are rigs in the ambulance service I used to work for with over 300k on the 7.3 motors so I think I am good for awhile. We have already decided our next TV will be a Freightliner M2.

I am camped right now 2 miles from Brian at BTS transmission. Buying a redone transmission with a ford dually with 170,000 miles on it. the plan is to keep my paid off truck and camper.

I have a 2007 2500 Dodge Ram 5.9 Cummins 155000 miles pulling a Big Horn. Thought about buying new but just can't bring myself to let loose of the 5.9 just getting broke in.

Only 78k on my 05 F250. Next year I'll be trading in my Raptor on a 17 F350 DRW but I'll never get rid of my F250. It's been an awesome truck.

Have a total of 453 miles on mine. That's what happens when you take the truck to the dealership for an oil change and ask to test drive a 2016 with the air suspension!!!!!!!!
You'll love the air suspension with auto level. I know I do.

2007 GMC 3500 Dually 6.6 Duramax 115000 miles with turbo codes bugging me.Replaced turbo vane sensor $1200 and still turbo codes. The vehicle works
and hauls fine with lots of power.Very annoying with the code P003A on and off constantly.A new turbo replaced is $4200 so its a major repair.

Loved my 05 f250 as well. My 06 f350 makes it a little easier to forget

I'll be upgrading to the 2017 as well...in about 6-8 years

Had the same problem off and on for three years or so. Did the same by replacing the turbo vane sensor. Also replaced the MAP sensor twice, MAF once. So far, what solved it was to put electrolytic grease on the MAP sensor plug. Threw a code on the transmission while towing once. Fortunately I had a code reader with me and cleared it with no problems for the rest of the trip. Error codes on the turbo system will mess with the whole electronic system and transmission too. Like most people, can't find someone who is good at troubleshooting the HD trucks. Time will tell if it solved the problem. Got 135,000 miles on my 2007.5 Chevrolet 2500HD.

My 99 F250 7.3 crew cab 4x4 has 82,000. Always garage kept, lots of engine mods, looks like new. I'd like to have a new 6.7, but just can't get over the new price tags!

Has a lot of engine mods, looks like new.

Moved on to the next thing...
Current 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4x4 with the 6.0 Litre Vortec Gas engine and 4.10 rear end has almost 28,000 miles on it.

Recently had the steering wheel replaced as the stitching was coming apart and the leather separating . . . and all three drivers side speakers replaced as they were blown.

Other than that . . . it is one awesome truck!

My previous 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.6 Litre Magnum V8 engine had 164,000 when I sold it last year . . .

In all the years I only ever had to do regular maintainance . . . the front brakes several times and the rear brakes only once (not long before I sold it) . . . new water pump and radiator . . . catalytic converter replaced . . . three batteries . . . and three sets of tires.

Also changed out the stereo a couple of times as well . . .

Still had the original engine, tranny and exhaust (except for the catalytic converter).

It is now roaming the streets of Rochester, NY.
