When I pulled down the Chloroplast, I cut it into sections. I cut a 10' 4x1 of cedar down to fit between the frame rails, then screwed the Chloroplast to that. I don't plan on pulling it down often, so I also sealed the seam with Gorilla tape.

I use a foldable 3-step stool. I need it around the campsite to adjust awnings and open the kitchen fan flap, anyway. It also folds flat to pack easily in the garage.

You can pull down on the arms and tighten the tension nut to get pitch on the awning. They are pretty high, so you need a step stool or something to stand on to do it, and then, of course, you need to loosen them again to put them away.

Although I have found Heartland is very accomodating on having service performed at other repair facilities that are not dealers. They have authorized me to have several repairs done at a non-heartland dealer that is much closer to home.

I had a tire do this - broken belts. Change it out now. You can probably get TBC to give you a new one, or get some reimbursement. Check out the tire forum - lots of bad comments on Towmax. I'd really recommend getting different tires all together.

Re: Low Water Pressure at Kitchen Faucet My kitchen sink had a flow restrictor in the hose where it attaches under the sink. It was also full of saw dust. Removing it helped a lot.

These flaps will close the gap between the rails and the door frame (to help keep the critters in). The long clip will slide over part of the door frame.

I used the Ford additive in my 6.4L. It runs noticably smoother with it, and I believe it improves my mileage by 5%. It costs less than $2 a fill up.

I think the question comes down to is the door reinforced for the concentrated load from the cables supporting the 1200# when in the level position. I'm sure it would support 3000# for a short period when down on the ground.
