Gilbert to Yuma to San Diego

Hello friends,

I'm planning a late morning departure in few days to San Diego. Coming from Gilbert, AZ. Think I'm wanting to stop about half way as I will be working the night before. Do you have any suggestions on RV parks that would be a good choice for overnighters? I looked on google maps and it looks like Yuma is full of parks and mixed reviews. We have a 12 year old daughter and two quiet small dogs.

Hi Carl,
Never stayed in Yuma but drive thru it a lot coming from SD to Tempe. There are many RV parks in the east end of Yuma but can't give you any recommendations on them. There is also a casino west of Winterhaven where they might let you stay overnight. Since you're only staying one overnight maybe its not so critical. Where/how long are you staying in San Diego?
