For once, the dealer is right. Our last 2 trailers had the same shower enclosure with uncaulked walls and they never leaked. But a "soft" shower floor is another issue cured by installing some additional support or blocking under the shower pan.

Re: Warrenty issues? I made a cleaning wand that goes down the toilet and sprays water sideways. They're also available at camping stores. It works keeping my sensors clean. The factory tank rinser doesn't do the job. Caveat - I can hook up and dump the tank at home, and take my time rinsing...

I too used the Ebay vendor in the previous posts. When I replaced the 921 bulbs I used warm white panels. Besides the tape provided I zip tied them to the reflectors to be sure they don't fall off. 2 years so far and no failures.

Erratic black tank sensor readings are common across the RV industry. I've had good results with using a down-the-toilet flush wand. I'm lucky in that I can dump at home and take my time rinsing the tanks.

As soon as I see "1/2-ton" and "Supercrew" I worry. If it has a 7200# or 7350# GVW you'll exceed the GVW rating before the tow rating if you load it up with 2 adults, kids, dog ect.

Maintenance (must have been asleep) - I forgot to mention wheel bearings. Depending on use and mileage they should be re-packed every year or 2. It gives you a chance to inspect the brakes as well.

If you always have hookups, one battery is all you need. But - we go to campgrounds w/o hookups a few times a year. I installed a second battery and converted to LED lights to cut the power consumption.

I piggy-backed off the microwave outlet and added a surface mount box and outlet to the underside of the cabinet. Yeah, we realize you can't run the microwave & coffee maker at the same time but it's no big deal.

I've never used the pull-out rack on our NT. But without checking the owners manual I believe the rack has a capacity of 150#, or 100# if the spare tire is mounted on the bumper.
