I had a towmax let go last spring on my Gateway, luckily i was watching and k8nd of expecting to.have trouble, i jotices some defects in the sidewalls on all 4 before we left on a trip up north. I replaced all 5 tires with a better brand, i couldn't get Sailuns and didn't want to pay the shipping, anyway, i kept the take offs, they have been sitting for over a year now, i sold my house and decided to see if Heartland would do anything about the tires, they gave me a number for the distributor of the Towmax tires in Florida, i take them to a dealer today to get inspected and from what i was told, since i had a blowout, and replaced the tires, i could end up with some cash back, they pro rate the tire by tread wear, new tires are worth $120.00 each because Heartland buys bulk, thats the price the tires are worth, and every 32nd of an inch drops the value of the tire. I'll post what i find out, because the tires have sat for a year i could be in trouble if there is any weather checking ect....and should have done this sooner, but i did take pictures of the sidewalls before i had the blown tire so may be okay. The warrenty is for 5 years on the towmax's and the lady i spoke with was very helpful, and polite, she set up the appointment for the local tire dealer for me as well. Again i'll post the results, i decided to see if the tires were worth anything as far as warrenty because we sold the house and i was not sure if i should take them with me or dump them, and i was hanging on to them to see if a recall was going to pop up. The reason i replaced all 5 is because the new tires are slightly taller than the Towmax set, so didn't want an oddball spare....
