We stayed at this campground a few years ago. The campground was very nice. However, for those who like tto eat out, there was a bar and grill a mile or so north of there. We ended up going south to Port Huron for good restaurant choices. This was a few years ago, and things may have changed.

My ten-year old Bighorn came with aluminum wheels and they have hard "stuff" on them. I've tried NEVER DULL, but even with a lot of rubbing, the "stuff" is still there. What's the best way to clean them?

Chuck & Saundra Batcke registered today. Knee replacement is now scheduled for September 22, so that won't hold me up.

Just heard from Doug Wood yesterday and he has a part-time job now and says that if they go, it would be a last minute decision. We will go if they go, but won't if they don't.

Re: 2015 Goshen Rally - Tour Tickets Still Available Saundra and I are registered and will be arriving the Friday before the rally (need to pig-out at the Amish dinner on Saturday). Plan to attend the Ontario rally the weekend prior to the trip down to Goshen. Pickleball, eh. Interesting.

How are your numbers coming together? I attended the McGregor along with SOB owners Doug and Karen Wood about four years ago. We are both thinking of coming to this rally if there is time. Please let me know.

What is the date and location of the Ontario rally? I enjoy McGregor, but in 2013 it was the weekend before the rally and the Amish dinner (which we really enjoy) was in the pre-rally event dates, so they conflicted with that weekend in Ontario.

I'd like to take you up on that, but with company here from KY this week and my 55th high school reunion on Saturday, I'm totally committed for this weekend. Have a great time and a fantastic rally.

You won't be disappointed in the Old Hamlin - it was our favorite haunt when we camped in Ludington. Try the Prevean burger - made with 1/3 ground cherries and 2/3 ground beef. Great taste with much less fat content. Now I really wish that we were going, but hopefully, next time.

I can't tell by your posting if you mean June in 2015, August of 2015 or some other month. Remember that the National Rally should return to Goshen in June of 2015 (unless something has changed) and we definitely plan to attend that one. We also hope to attend the Ontario rally if it is going...

FYI on what was wrong with my landing gear at the rally. The off-door-side leg had to be rebuilt as the teeth on one of the of the gears was stripped just enough to keep them from meshing as they should have. So, it was the gears and not a shear pin that was the problem. $40 in parts and five...

Saundra and I had a great time. Had the opportunity to see Saundra's three cousins in nearby Gladstone. Got the Bighorn into Freeway RV this morning and the landing gear is fixed. Will pick it up tomorrow and put it back into storage. It was good to be with the Michigan Chapter folks again...
